Released in 1987, Crazy Nights is KISS’ 14th studio album, bringing a polished, radio-friendly sound that leaned into the glam metal era of the late ’80s. Produced by Ron Nevison, the album features synth-heavy production, soaring vocals from Paul Stanley, and anthemic choruses.

The album spawned some of KISS’ biggest hits of the time, including “Crazy Crazy Nights”, “Reason to Live”, and “Turn on the Night”. While it divided longtime fans with its commercial sound, it remains a classic of KISS’ late-’80s period and a favorite among collectors.
