Released in 1981, Music from ‘The Elder’ is KISS’s most experimental album, marking a drastic departure from their signature hard rock and glam sound. It was intended as a concept album, telling the story of a young boy on a journey to become a hero, guided by a mysterious council known as The Elders. The album was meant to accompany a film that was never made.
