Released in 1979, State of Shock is Ted Nugent’s fifth solo studio album. While not as commercially successful as Cat Scratch Fever, it still delivers his signature hard rock sound, full of high-energy riffs and aggressive guitar work. The album features “Paralyzed,” which became a minor hit, along with other classic Nugent-style rockers that showcase his raw and relentless approach to guitar-driven rock.
